Children of Asia...
Created in 1991, Enfants d'Asie today sponsors 10 000 children, orphans or children in desperate situations, who are sheltered on a boarding or daycare basis in more than fifty centers in South East Asia, in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines. Enfants d’Asie supports the essential needs of these underprivileged children : nutrition, accomodation, health, and emotional support. It also helps them build their future by offering them education assistance, student scolarships, vocational training, computer tuition, english and french classes and also by providing them ultimately with access to microfinance. Enfants d'Asie's actions also occur in emergency situations : providing shelter to children living on the street, helping abused and molested children, supporting the children’s families...

What is a sponsorship ?

It is an act of sustainable solidarity. It enables underprivileged children to have a normal child's life within his community, thanks to the regular contribution of sponsors.
Thus it assures the basic needs of a child, and on a lesser level those of his community : Food, shelter, medical care and prevention, education and vocational training, in total respect of his culture, his environment and his way of life.
A sponsorship is an efficient bond on the long term because it follows the child up to his financial autonomy. It helps him to become an independent and responsible adult.
