Sponsorship is a gesture of long-term solidarity, it permits an underprivileged child to live their life in the heart of a supportive community.
Sponsorship ensures that a child receives all essential needs of food, housing, medical attention (preventative and curative), schooling and professional training; all in respecting their culture, their environment and their way of life.
Sponsorship means a long-term commitment to supporting a child throughout their life, until they are financially independent adults, able to live independent, responsible and autonomous lives. |

Sponsoring a Child
In the framework of individual sponsorship, the sponsor is introduced to his or her beneficiary. The sponsor knows the background of their child and can follow the concrete results of their aide. This information is provided through timely letters, photos, drawings, and interviews between the sponsor and the sponsored child.
This support relationship does not however, impart legal rights or responsibilities to the child.
A “Sponsorship Guide” is given to each sponsor when a sponsorship is established; a code of ethics is included in this guide.

Group sponsorship
Group sponsorship and/or program sponsorship supports a group of children or a specific project: classes, school, orphanages, "pagoda" programs....these type of sponsorships are particularity well adapted to regions with difficult access or, if the sponsors prefers not to be linked to an individual child.
This sponsor receives a report each year outlining the progress of projects of which they have contributed to.
