| GECO – Groupe d’Etudes pour la Chirurgie Osseuse |
GECO, Groupe d’Etudes pour la Chirurgie Osseuse, A Research Group for Bone Surgery, is an organization of local rights, ruled by the law of April 19, 1908 in Alsace-Moselle. Created in April 1976 by a group of young surgeons, GECO has, since 1999, widened its audience and the fields of its skills by integrating several Groups of Specialities in the various fields of orthopaedic and traumatic surgeries. Gathering a hundred or so surgeons so far, GECO aims at Evaluating professional practises, Training and Communicating about the results of its works. An Open Meeting is organized every year in which over 250, both French and Foreign people take part. Through its research groups, GECO organizes Lectures every year requiring more and more live surgery. Thus it remains faithful to its goals : Sharing, Evaluating, Training, Creating and Communicating. |
